US figures reflect published averages for self-pay patients. China figures reflect public tertiary hospital price lists. Both sides carry a source and a date — this is the part most comparison sites skip.

How to read a Chinese hospital, not just pick one
China’s tier system, international departments and accreditation mean different things. We explain the structure first, then list hospitals with a verifiable source — never a paid ranking.

What we will and won’t put on this site
We cite, or we don’t publish
A price without a named source and a retrieval date doesn’t go live. Where a figure can’t be verified, the page says so instead of estimating.
We date everything
Hospital price lists change. Every table carries the month it was checked, so you can judge how much to trust it.
We don’t diagnose
We explain procedures, ranges and logistics. Whether a treatment suits you is a conversation with a licensed clinician, not with a website.
Written for planning, not for browsing

How Chinese hospitals are classified, and what the label doesn’t tell you.
Before you go further
Are the prices on this site quotes?
No. They are indicative ranges compiled from published hospital price lists and public data, with the source and date shown. A hospital will only give you a real quote after reviewing your case.
Do you arrange treatment or take a commission?
The site is an information resource. We explain how to compare hospitals and costs; we don’t book procedures, and we don’t rank hospitals for payment.
Can you tell me which treatment I need?
No — that’s a medical decision. We explain what a procedure involves and which questions to ask a clinician, so you can have that conversation better informed.
Why do Chinese and US prices differ so much?
Mainly cost structure rather than quality: public hospital pricing, domestic implant and device supply, and no insurance intermediary. The comparison page breaks this down procedure by procedure.
How often is the data updated?
Each table carries its own check date. We re-verify on a rolling basis and mark anything older than twelve months as due for review.
